Pictures are an essential part of the transport process.  Its important to know how to take pictures to make sure they meet the criteria of acceptance and are in fact useful. 

In general, they must be taken at the time of pick up or delivery

Every panel should have at least one picture taken of it

If damage is noted, a panned out view of the panel should be taken, then a few close ups.  Close ups by itself do not help and will be challenged by the carrier as possibly not being from the car in question.
